Siding and Shutters!!

I'm guessing you can figure out the before and after. The first picture is before Jon even moved in and the second is from the day they finished the siding! The shutters are dark green, if you cared - it's just hard to see.

I can't believe it has been since Thanksgiving that I have updated anyone, but then again I can. The past two weeks have been totally insane and of course some major things have been happening on the house front. The siding and shutters are done!! And we have new gutters too! So exciting! It looks like a completely different house. We just went to buy some new numbers, a new mailbox, and a new outside light on Sunday. The old gold ones were not going to fly with the new colors - plus they were gold. The only thing that needs to happen on the outside is new posts to the entry way - at least I hope the replace the wood boards that are currently there. :)

Wood blinds slats are the lightest of all blinds and are generally the best bet for large windows. They are known to give a cozy feel to the room and provide the desired privacy, even while allowing enough sunlight to filter through the slats.

Window Treatment can add warmth and personality to your home. You can transform the appearance of any room with little expense and time. Here are some basic tips to help you choose the best window treatment. You'll need to consider four main things when buying window treatments: Function, privacy, light control, and style. Some areas of your room may require more light control, privacy, or ventilation. Hard window treatments, including shades and blinds, offer the most control over light. Soft window treatments, such as curtains and drapes, effectively trap heat and block noise.Virginia window treatments
